Rotary Airlock Feeder
Our factory independently develops the YJD Series Rotary Airlock Feeder, also widely known as star feeder or ash discharger, serving as core supporting equipment for all bulk material production lines.
Stable operation is available under negative pressure and slight positive pressure, applicable for powder, fine granules and small lump materials. It isolates the pressure difference inside and outside conveying pipelines, cuts air loss and avoids dust overflow to keep your complete dust removal and pneumatic conveying system working steadily.
It is widely used in chemical processing, industrial dust collection, grain milling, cement building materials and metallurgy industries. The modular structure supports customized feeding capacity and flange sizes to fit various workshop installation layouts. Featuring low vibration, 24-hour continuous operation and simple daily maintenance, it effectively reduces long-term factory operation costs.
Modular Five-Core Component Structure
The YJD Rotary Airlock Feeder adopts compact split assembly design. All vulnerable transmission parts are mounted outside the high-temperature material cavity to reduce thermal corrosion and component abrasion. The five core components can be disassembled separately for inspection and replacement:
- Feeder Housing
Made of cast iron or welded carbon steel. Two standard flange types are available – Type A square flange and Type B round flange, with outstanding compression resistance and sealing effect. Stainless steel housing is optional for corrosive or food-grade material processing.
- Star Rotor Impeller
Integrated multi-curved blades with precise fixed cavity volume, realizing even feeding without material sticking, bridging or blockage during long continuous operation.
- Multi-Layer Composite Seal Assembly
Combined labyrinth and packing double seal prevents fine powder from entering the bearing chamber, controlling the overall air leakage rate below 3%.
- Reduction Drive Unit
Two reducer options are provided: cycloidal pinwheel reducer and planetary differential reducer, delivering stable high torque with low vibration and no rotational impact.
- Industrial Drive Motor
Standard IP55 waterproof and dustproof motor, suitable for humid, dusty and medium-high temperature factory working environments.

The full YJD model lineup covers small to large flow demands. Matched variable frequency motors can adjust rotating speed freely to achieve accurate volumetric feeding.
